Follow these simple steps to standardise your brand identity across Google Workspace™.

Note: This guide covers the individual/lite workflow. Pro account users will receive assigned brand assets automatically as configured by their domain administrator.

Where to find BrandFriend: Look at the Right-Hand Side Panel

BrandFriend is built on Google's modern Workspace Add-on architecture. It lives in the Right-Hand Side Panel (Companion Bar) alongside Google Calendar™, Google Keep™, and Tasks™ — NOT in the top “Extensions” menu.

👉 Don't see the side panel? In the very bottom-right corner of your Google Docs™ or Google Slides™ window, look for the small arrow button ‹ (“Show side panel”). Click it to expand the panel and reveal the BrandFriend logo!

3 Easy Steps to Standardise Your Workflow

1. Install the Add-on

Visit the Google Workspace™ Marketplace and install the BrandFriend add-on for your domain or individual account.

2. Configure your Brand Kit

Sign in to the BrandFriend dashboard and upload your organisation's logos, fonts, and primary colors to your Google Drive™.

3. Open in Side Panel & Inject

Open Google Docs™ or Google Slides™, click the BrandFriend icon in the right-hand companion bar, and inject your assets.
